Why SnapPlus 3?

Software has a life cycle. SnapPlus 2 first came out in 2013 and was built on the technology available at the time, largely reproducing the original SnapPlus program’s 2005 look and feel. SnapPlus 3 is a web-based program that has been completely re-designed based on feedback from users around the state.

SnapPlus 3 is now available to learn. We are making SnapPlus 3 available while we are finishing it to allow planners to begin preparing for the transition from Version 2 to Version 3 in the 2026 nutrient management planning season.
